Travel To Mars Island
Mars Island is located off the coast of Sibenik, Croatia.
By Air
Fly to Zadar or Split from most major European airports. Zadar and Split airports are only 45-60 minutes from the port of Sibenik with regular flights from across the UK and Europe.
We do not offer arrangements for airport transfers, however here are some local companies that offer the service.
Transport from Split to Sibenik:
By Car
Sibenik is just off the E65 motorway, which links Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik, as well as Zagreb.
There is parking available in Sibenik at Parking Mulo Krke and Parking Luka.
By Bus
Buses regularly depart from major bus terminals (including Split, Zadar, and Zagreb).
Travel time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Split / Zadar.

You will not be able to arrange alternative transport to the island.
You will be assigned a ferry departure time once you have purchased your tickets.
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO BOARD A FERRY WITHIN THE PREDETERMINED FERRY SCHEDULE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED A FEE OF $130 USD EACH WAY (SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON AVAILABILITY) FOR MARS ISLAND TO ARRANGE NON-SCHEDULED TRANSPORTATION FOR YOU.
EARLY ENTRY:
- CHECK-IN: Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at 1:00PM
- FERRY DEPARTURE: Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at 2:00PM
If demand requires, we will add a second ferry for early entry at a later time on Thursday, August 19th. Please note, the first early entry ferry will be filled on the order of ticket purchase.
GENERAL ENTRY:
- CHECK-IN: Friday, August 20th, 2021 between 12:00PM and 5:00PM pending your appointed ferry time
- FERRY DEPARTURE: Friday, August 20th, 2021 between 1:00PM and 6:00PM pending your appointed ferry time
